Hot Air Ballooning!

Anybody else have a bucket list? I do! One of the things that has always been on my bucket list is to ride in a hot air balloon. Why? Who knows? Prob because I really want to go sky diving but I am too big of a wimp and am scared of breaking my neck, so a hot air balloon seemed like the next best thing. I actually got Eric a groupon to go for his birthday about a year ago, even though I was the one who really wanted to go. I then was too freaked out to even book the ride, until it was about to expire. We ended up going just a few days after I found out I was pregnant. The ride was a lot of fun, but know quite as thrilling as I thought it would be. I thought we would actually travel a distance in the balloon but we really just went strait up and down. It was also kind of crowded in the basket and hot from the hot air, but overall it was really fun. There were some BEAUTIFUL views from up high. I just love trying new things with my hubby!

Well...its true! Baby number #3 is on the way! After 3 years, we finally got up enough courage to try again. I have pretty much been terrified of pregnancy since the twins, but we are excited to start this venture again.
I actually found out I was pregnant on Halloween of this year. We had already been trying for about six months, so I wasn't really expecting to actually be pregnant. I wansn't even late, but was supposed to start soon and I happened to have a pregnancy test at home. I remember hanging out with the kids and thinking, what the heck I will just take one for fun, I know it will be negative. Took the test....came back PREGNANT!! I was kind of in shock. Took another one for good measure, and it came back positive again. Its funny how even though you have been trying for something and wanting to be pregnant, when you find out you still get that flood of emotions from excitment to what the - did I get myself into? lol.
So with the twins, I could not hold in the fact that I was pregnant. I had always dreamed of telling my husband in a special way, but with the twins I was so freaked all I could do was send a text saying, "you have to come for lunch, we need to talk." Eric knew right away and texted back that I was pregnant. This time I was hoping to be more unique... I was actually able to somehow keep in that I was pregnant until the weekend. That Friday night I planned a picnic by the lake with eric and the twins. My little sister, Calli, also happened to be there. Halfway through the dinner I asked Calli to take a picture of our family by the lake. Instead of having it on picture, I had the camera set to video. Calli said, "say cheese" and I yelled, "I'm pregnant!" It was funny because Eric didn't believe me and thought I was just joking around to make him laugh. It took him a few minutes to get that I was serious, but it was pretty funny!
Anyways, we are really excited to be expecting again. We have also been scared, but are relieved now that we know it is JUST ONE! I am also being followed by the high risk doctors this time, which is reassuring. Excited to see how this pregnancy goes!

A Vacation to Remember!

Back in September, our family was able to fly to Arkansas to visit Eric's parents. It was such a fun trip and so nice to get away. The best part though, was Eric and I were able to go to Florida for a couple of days to get a little time to ourselves. Man, I am in LOVE with Florida...well and my husband of course. It was sooo beautiful there and one of the funnest trips that we have gone on. We first flew into Orlando. We got to spend the first day at Disneyworld and then the next day at the Epcott Center. We liked Disneyworld, but it is pretty much the same as Disneyland. We really loved the Epcott Center though. Its like you are traveling to different parts of the world and has small little cities that are replicas of different countries. So fun!

After being in Orlando for two days, we drove to the most beautiful gem of a city called Sarasota. It was the most beautiful quaint little town I have ever been to. We seriously could have spent forever there! The beaches were so beautiful, the sand was white powder, and the water was a aqua clear blue color. The beach was also not crowded and so queit and peaceful. Seriously heaven on earth. While we were there, we were swimming in the ocean and we discovered a bunch of mantitees swimming up on the shore. It was so cool to see!

Petting the Manitees. Apparently its a felony to do so....
so we were told... So is feeding them french fries.

Manitee watch came out and informed us the manitees
were all males mating with one female. Apparently she swam to
try to beach herself and get a break from the men for a little bit...
There were these cute little crabs all over the beach.
Apparently it is illegal to pick them up also..
Heaven on Earth....

Our fancy smancy hotel...got a great deal
bidding off priceline!

We rode beachcruisers up and down the beach..

Happy Birthday to my babies!!!

On December 12th, my sweet little babies turned two! I can not believe its already been two years since I have had them. I feel like time is passing by way too fast and I wish I could freeze it and keep everything just the way that it is. It is amazing to me to see everything the twins have been through and have overcome in the past two years. I am really so proud of them and can't wait to see what else they will tackle in their life.
On their birthday, we just did a really low key party at my house with grandma and grandpa and also my friend Amanda and her son Landon came. We had pizza, cake and opened presents. The kids LOVED it! It is so fun to see them start to understand what presents are and to see them get excited, yet still a little confused as they open their presents.

Happy Birthday Hubs!

My sweet husband turned 29 "again" back on January second. Normally, we make birthdays a big to do in our house, but with two sick kids on his birthday, we kept it more low key this year. Eric actually had the day off of work, so he went golfing with a friend during the day. Later that night, we hit up all the resteruants that would give Eric free dinner for his birthday, which included Joes Farm Fresh Grill, Joes BBQ, and dessert from Liberty Market. It was AWESOME!:) Since it is Eric's Birthday and its a good excuse to embarass him, here are some things you might not know about him:

1. Eric started a new job a year ago as a business anaylst at Chase. It is amazing to what a hard worker he is and how he has exceled at a totally new type of work.

2. Whenever Eric dances he has the cute funny dance where he likes to point his fingers and move his arms around. Yeah, its pretty hot.

3. Erics biggest dream in life is to start and grow his own business. He has some ideas he is working on now... I have no doubt he will be successful.

4. Eric almost always gives a thumbs up to the camera when he gets his picture taken. I don't think he even realizes he does it anymore.

5. Eric does the dishes EVERY night at our house. My grandpa once had a talk with Eric right before we got married and told him whoever does the dishes in the house, is the boss. Needless to say, Eric is the boss in our house.

6. He loves to make the kids laugh. As soon as Eric gets home he is on the ground with the kids running, chasing, making strange noises, doing anything that would make the kids laugh and have a good time. He usually plays with them until bedtime.

7. Eric is one of the most spontaneous people I know. He is the type to just get in the car and drive, and not know where he is going until he gets their. His plan is to just figure it out as he goes.

8. Eric is very atheletic and is good at every sport he tries. He played sports all through high school and played soccor and BYUI.

9. Eric has an identical twin named Art. During high school they looked almost exactly alike and would sometimes make a switch durning classes or dates. They even switched places when they walked at graduation.

10. Eric has one of the most hideous shirts that has ever been made. Is is black and has flourecent fishes all over the shirt. I have tried to give it to DI, only to find it back in the closet. I even offered the scouts 20 bucks to steal it and burn it...
Its still in our closet.

11. The only times Eric really gets mad or upset is when the Steelers loose a game. Because he hardly ever gets mad, it is kind of funny to see him uspet because it is just so out of nature for him. I usually can't help but laughing at him. Sorry babe!

12. Eric is one of the most genuine and compassionate people you will ever meet. He can not see someone hurting and not help them.

These are just some of the things that made me fall madly in love with him! Happy Birthday sweets! Hope you know how much a love and appreciate all you do!
